Registration opens at 5 pm today!

And no, that’s not an April Fool’s Joke. It’s finally here! Registration will open at 5 p.m. today. We apologize for the delays to our anticipated registration date. Closing the road to a National Park is a complicated process during normal times, and the pandemic has made it exponentially more complicated. We didn’t want to open registration and then have to make major changes to the event after the fact. Our crystal ball has been a little foggy about telling us how to set up the ride with the ever-changing requirements for our permit with the park, along with the situation at the Canadian Border. Our Canadian friends have been a part of Ride the Hurricane for over a decade, and we surely missed them the past two years. Our last piece of the puzzle is going into place today, and we are delighted that it coincides with the reduction in border-crossing restrictions, which will allow our Canadian friends to register for the ride.

Based on the interests we’ve seen we think a lot of you are going to register when it opens and the registration platform is probably going to be pretty busy. We anticipate that the ride will sell out, but we don’t think it will happen today (at least not this year) so if you can’t get through right away please wait a few minutes and try again.

Canadian cyclists, please let us know in the comments section of the registration if you’re a returning RTH veteran. We missed you!

    1. Hi Cliff,
I do not see you registered. Are you sure you didn’t mistake the waiver form? You should have been charged $60 for your registration. Please visit the website or go here to register: Ridethehurricane.org

We are filling up quickly and will probably sell out in the next couple of weeks, so I wouldn’t wait to register. Thank you.
